What do different flowers mean?
We are so accustomed to the notion that no matter what they are, flowers are always a joy and a universal gift.
Here is the symbolism of some of our favorite flowers:
Roses traditionally symbolize passion, love, vivid feelings, and sympathy;
The white rose is usually associated with happiness and innocence;
Yellow roses are associated with jealousy and friendship;
Red roses with love and sensuality;
The Narcissus in the bouquet mean vanity, pride and passion;
Tulips are usually added to the composition to emphasize
wealth, splendor, youth and affection;
Sunflower is associated with warmth and happiness;
Carnations convey the female charm;
Gladiol means sincerity and affection;
Calla flowers speaks of chastity and purity;
The Iris emphasize wisdom and tranquility;
Lillium is a sign of nobility, innocence and glamor;
The orchid means finesse, love and luxury;
The daisy represents joy and innocence;
Violets are given as a sign of loyalty, modesty and faith.
But do not forget that flowers are just a gift from nature, they are all wonderful and enjoy our soul :)
